online lessons for january 2021

This January, Converge will embark on 21 Days of Prayer. We're invited to partner with as many as 1,300 hundred Converge churches across the globe to pray for God’s leading in our lives, our churches, and our mission fields worldwide. As we go to God in prayer together, he will display his presence and his power in unprecedented ways to advance the gospel so more people can meet, know and follow Jesus.

For the month of January, our Discipleship in a Box will be entirely online; materials are below. We're focusing on prayer to coincide with 21 Days of Prayer so that your children can participate in this movement with us. We have some prayer activities from Miss Donna below, as well as some videos on prayer. Also, Miss Donna has prayer devotionals for families who sign up for this program.

As we come together in prayer with churches around the world, please know that we're also praying for you--that you would see God do amazing things in and through his kingdom despite this difficult season we’re all in.

Sunday Lessons for children

children's programs (birth - Grade 5)

At our 9:30 AM service we offer:

  • A nursery and toddler room for infants - age 3 where loving volunteers will care for your child while you enjoy worship. We consider it an honor and a blessing to show God's love through singing, playing, rocking, and reading stories.

  • A Parents' Room for nursing mothers and parents who wish to stay with their young children. The room includes a t.v. with a live feed of the service.

  • Sunday School for age 4 - grade 5 with several classes divided by age & grade. We engage children with creative activities and teach them about the God who loves them. Because we believe there is value in children interacting with the whole church body, Sunday School children join their parents for worship first and then proceed to their classes.

A note on safety: We strive to provide a safe environment for all our children. We conduct background checks on all children's workers and volunteers Our rooms are outfitted with age appropriate toys that are cleaned and disinfected on a regular bases We have a check-in/check-out system for our nursery, as well as pagers so we can reach you easily during the service if a need arises. We have stringent safety guidelines and emergency procedures in place, and all volunteers are required to review these procedures. For more details on our security measures, please view our Nursery Guidelines.
