Higher Ground is a Christ-centered group that is a ministry of the church and provides support and encouragement to men and women who are struggling with any life controlling issue. Family members affected by a loved one’s addiction are invited to attend to get support for themselves and gain an understanding of addiction. Meetings are also for those who have sobriety and desire to grow spiritually. The meetings offer help that is permanent and eternal through Biblical truths called Precepts and with topics based on Scripture. The goal of the meeting is to lead participants to personal faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, and to promote continual spiritual growth through instruction, encouragement, and local church involvement.
