PROGRAMS FOR YOUTH

If you are in Grades 6 - 12, you're invited to be part of Transformed Student Ministry. We believe God is inviting us to live a life transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and that a transformed heart leads to a transformed world.

Join us on Monday nights (6:30 - 8:30 PM) for a time of worship through music, a lesson from God's Word, games, snacks, time spent in small groups, and generally a lot of laughter.

You're also invited to join us Sunday mornings,* during the 10 AM service. Middle School (grades 6 - 8) meets on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sunday of the month and High School (grades 9 - 12), meets on the 2nd, 4th, and 5th Sunday of the month for Bible Study and fellowship in the Youth Room. Students join their families for worship at the start of the service and then head down to their classes. *From June 30 - Sept 1, Middle & High School classes take a break and join their families in worship for the summer.

Throughout the year we also do a variety of special events and we connect with We Want More Ministry and the Young Life program in Fairfield. When there are upcoming special events, they will be listed below.

Contact TransformedTrinity@gmail.com for more info and other ways to connect.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Note: No Youth Group on Aug 12, 19,  & Sept 2 (for Aug 26, see the Cookout details below.)

Cookie Days: on hold for the summer, but beginning Sept 11, every Wednesday is Cookie Day! Stop by the Russell home (6 Wakeman Rd, Fairfield) anytime after school until 6 PM and hang out with Robert & Kimbi. There will be freshly baked cookies. Bring a friend, your homework, or whatever else!

6th Grade Extravaganza:  Friday, Aug 16, from 11 AM - 2 PM at 19 Odell Ave in Milford. It's time to celebrate the event known as the "Rise of the 6th Graders." You may or may not know that 6th grade is a big year for us at Trinity because that means students that were in grade 5 can now come to Youth Group! Robert and our 5th grade Sunday School teacher, Bob Walter, want to celebrate this milestone and make the transition easier. This event will be a time to hang out with the students, go on a beach scavenger hunt, and grill up some great food!

Parents' Meeting: Wednesday, Aug 21, from 6:30 - 7:30 PM in the Youth Room. A time for parents to come, ask questions, and hear from Trinity's Youth Director about what is going on in our Youth Group, and the goals and hopes for the students.

Cookout: Monday, Aug 26, from 4 - 7 PM at the Russell Home. For grades 6-12 (including rising 6th graders) and parents! Come on out for an evening filled with good food, fun games, and great fellowship. It's a unique opportunity to meet the other parents and youth group leaders. Please sign-up in advance (and also let Robert know if you have any dietary restrictions).

Youth Leaders Cookout: Saturday, Aug 31, from 4 - 7 PM at the Russell Home. We want to celebrate the dedication and time that the youth group leaders put into caring for the students, and recognize all the effort they put forth.

Fall Kick-off:  Sunday, Sept 8 at 2 PM at Urban Air Adventure Park in Orange. To carpool together, meet in the church parking lot at 1 PM for a 1:15 PM departure. Pick up back at church at 5:45 PM. Cost for the Urban Air Adventure is $20 and a waiver must be signed in order to participate (click for waiver). Please email Robert to let him know if you are attending, so we know if we qualify for the group rate (minimum of 20 people needed).
