As a God-first community, we desire to reach out in love and humility to all people. The Good News of the Gospel is that "God is reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting anyone's sins against them. And He has committed to us this message of reconciliation." (II Cor. 5:19-20). It is our privilege and responsibility to represent God--locally and around the world--by extending compassion, meeting needs, promoting justice, and working to build and restore relationships in the name of Jesus Christ.
Trinity supports several local ministries that demonstrate God's love to people in our community. Additionally, throughout the year we partner with various organizations to assist with their programs and events that benefit underprivileged and hurting people in Fairfield county. For a detailed list of the local ministries we partner with, please visit our Support Programs page. Or contact the church office via Mail@TrinityFairfield.org to assist with any of our local outreach events such as the Baby Bottle Campaign near Mother's Day (for Hopeline), the International Students Picnic in June (with Bridges International), the Thanksgiving Pie Ministry in November, and the Clothing and Coat Drive in winter months (for Bridgeport Rescue Mission).
GLOBAL OUTREACH (GO Team)
Through our GO Team, Trinity supports more than 20 global partners around the world. We have partners in Africa helping refugees, fighting against AIDS and assisting orphans; we have partners in the Philippines, Brazil & elsewhere providing education and sharing the Gospel; we have partners in Papua New Guinea & India helping with Bible translation. We have partners providing medical assistance and partners that are church planting around the world. Some are doing sports ministry; some are working on clean water projects. Some are serving in the Amazon jungle; some are serving in inner cities. Wherever they are sent, they are working hard to better the lives of those around them.
The GO Team strives to maintain communications with these partners, encourage them, and inspire our congregation to support them - both spiritually through our Prayer Partners program, and financially through our Faith Promise fund. We also maintain an apartment which we offer to our global partners on a short term basis when they are home on furlough or visiting the area. Want to support the work we're doing globally?
