sundays at TBC

We're excited to be worshiping with you in our building! Because the state of CT has relaxed some guidelines (effective Oct 8) and has lifted our capacity level for in-person gatherings, we're also happy to announce that sign-ups are no longer required to attend on Sunday mornings! Anyone will be welcome to come; however, masks are still required, hand sanitizer should still be used, and seating will continue to be socially distant, in order to maintain the safest setting for all and to provide a positive witness to our community. Our expectations for Sundays are outlined below.

For those who aren't attending, our livestream will continue on Sunday mornings so that you can keep participating from home as you have been.

For the time being, there will be no nursery or separate program for children and teens; they will stay in the service with their parents. Visit our Children's page or our Youth Page for ways we're encouraging family worship at home. In addition to our Discipleship in a Box program, we also offer other resources to help teach and shepherd your children.

We thank you for your cooperation as we work to create a safe environment for everyone, and we're grateful for your compliance as we follow standards set up by the town of Fairfield and the state.

EXPECTATIONS WHEN WE GATHER

What you can expect from us:

  • Our building will be designed as a warm and inviting space that also supports social distancing.
  • We will maintain a worship space and foyer that has been regularly cleaned and treated with disinfectant on all hard surfaces including door handles and seats.
  • Out of love and care for one another, we will not hold a time of fellowship before and after the worship service.
  • Out of respect for our state and town leaders, we will keep track of the number of people in the building so as to cooperate with the limitations on group size.

What we expect of you:

  • That you will help us love one another by staying home if you are experiencing any symptoms such as a fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell.
  • That you will wear a mask (as will everyone) out of concern for one another’s safety, unless it is medically unsafe to do so.
  • That you will respect social distancing guidelines by maintaining a 6 ft distance from one another when we gather for worship.
  • That you will allow a volunteer to direct you to your seats and you will be dismissed by row at the end of the service.
