It’s a great way to get involved in the mission work of the church!We're starting a Kid's Special Care Ministry Team! According to statistics, one in five Americans has a disability of some sort. A significant number are children, yet only 5% of churches have a ministry to meet their needs! It is our desire to support and care for these children and their families with the love of Christ. However, this ministry cannot be successful without selfless and compassionate volunteers. We have many opportunities to serve the Lord through this ministry, so if you feel God tugging on your heart and want more information, please contact Erica with questions.Winter is coming and the Bridgeport Rescue Mission is once again helping to ensure people stay WARM! DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life's most difficult experiences. Don't go through divorce or separation alone. Join our group, which meets Thursdays from 7 - 9 PM in the church library through May 25, 2017. Walk-ins are welcome at any time. We’re looking to fill a gap in the 4th Sunday coffee hour: 2-4 volunteers needed to help serve on a rotating basis. All that is required is making coffee, setting it out with some snacks, and cleaning up. Training provided. If interested, please contact Tara. To better serve you and your children, we are asking that all children, age 4 - grade 5, are registered for their Sunday School class. Click here to register. This will help us prepare in advance for the number of children in each grade, keep track of allergies, etc. Please note that our middle school & high school Sunday School classes meet on alternating weeks. Grades 6 - 8 meet on the 1st & 3rd Sundays of the month; Grades 9 - 12 meet on the 2nd & 4th Sundays. Both groups worship with their families on the 5th Sunday of the month. Students will join their families for worship at the start of the 10 AM service and then proceed to their classes for fellowship & relevant Bible teaching. Class ends at 11:45 AM.
